Each year the teachers are recognized by the House and Senate for their contributions to our education system followed by lunch with our local representatives. Since 2006, Hatfield Temple has honored members of local law enforcement by treating them to a special day at our capital. Each year members of the Florence Police Department, Florence County Sheriff's Department, and Highway Patrol are recognized by the House and Senate for their dedication and service, followed by a lunch with our local representatives. Pictured are the recipients from 2019.

It is easy to get caught up in our own routines and forget about the needs of our community. Today, on behalf the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, and with donations from several law firms in Florence, Attorney Alec Hogsette donated over $500 worth of much-needed school supplies to Southside Middle School and Principal Jeffery A. Gaines! Good luck to all students as they begin the new school year!

Happy Appreciation Week to all nurses! Your compassion, sacrifice, and dedication to patients is commendable. Our attorneys were excited to celebrate some of our local nurses at McLeod Regional Medical Center today. Thank you to Dr. Carolyn Reynolds for helping us coordinate lunch for these deserving nurses.

Can you spot Hood Temple and Joelle Forgeng Temple? They spent part of their Holiday weekend running in the 13th Annual Run for the Heroes! From all of us at Hatfield Temple, thank you to all those that have sacrificed and served our country.

Whether it’s a billboard to celebrate local athletes, a “Wall of Fame” to honor teachers, or starting scholarships for first responders and Wofford students, education and supporting our teachers and local institutions has always been a priority of Hood Temple and Joelle Forgeng Temple!

What a day! Our office was honored to sponsor the SCSU College of Liberal Arts Harry Carson Invitational Tournament at The Traces Golf Club. While our attorneys couldn’t break away from the office, some of our staff participated and even brought home some hardware!
